The Champlain Valley Little League is pleased to announce the opening of registration for our annual Fall Ball season.  For those of you who have not yet experienced this opportunity, Fall Ball represents a chance for players, ages 8-11 (AA to Majors), to step up to the next division in an instructional environment designed to prepare them for their Spring 2024 divisional assignments.

In terms of commitment, players can expect 1-2 practices per week and 1-2 scrimmages/games per week.  Games generally occur on Saturdays between the hours of 10am-3pm at the Shelburne Town Fields and/or local fields to include those located in Hinesburg, South Burlington, Williston, Richmond, Browns River and Essex.

The cost is $75 per player which includes registration fees, jersey and a cap.  Registration is open now and will close at 11:59pm on August 22, 2023.  Late registrations will not be accepted.

The season is scheduled to begin the first week of September and will end no later than November 1, 2023. 

Registration can be accessed through the CVLL website through the Register link located in the upper right-hand corner of the website.

The system will automatically populate the correct division for your player based on the child’s date of birth, but please feel free to use the below chart to help you better understand the correct placement of your ball player.

Please note that those 11/12-year-old players who recently completed their second year of Majors have now aged out of Little League and are now eligible for Babe Ruth Fall Ball.  Information on Babe Ruth Fall Ball Registration is forthcoming.

Currently, CVLL does not offer any Fall options for softball, but we are currently working on putting together some optional practice opportunities so please stay tuned for additional information.
